Not bad, but more of an ornament than a developmental toy
We purchased this mobile for our son shortly after he was born, because it was the only motorized mobile that our local Toys 'R Us had in stock.

It's not a bad mobile, and he enjoyed the characters, but in all honesty it's a mobile designed more for decoration than for infant development. Of the three characters, only one faces down so the child can see it (Eeyore). The other two face outward, so all the child can see is their feet. The velcro attachment was not an issue, since the characters are plush and safe and very light--even if they did come off, they pose no danger (they're far too large to be a choking hazard).

We received a Tiny Love mobile for Christmas that we've since replaced the Pooh mobile with, and our son responds to it MUCH more. All of the characters on the Tiny Love mobile face downward, so he can interact with them much more, and it's much more colorful.

We still have the base of the Pooh mobile in the room as a nightlight, but overall I wouldn't purchase it again. It really doesn't seem like it was designed for infants' cribs at all.

Great jeans for my taller than average 2 year old grandson. He has long legs and these particular jeans were perfect in a size 3T for his height. The adjustable waistband is great for tall, slender little ones. I will be ordering additional sizes as he grows.

No more nasty diaper rash
We started using 7th Generation diapers when my now 16 month old son was 6 months old. He developed a nasty nasty diaper rash at 4 months old that took us over 2 months and $300 to clear up. After much trial and error it was determined he has a chlorine sensitivity. 7th Generation diapers are some of the few on the market that do not contain chlorine. "Mainstream" diapers such as Pampers, Huggies and Luvs all leave my son's bottom flame red after just a few hours' wear.

The old style of the 7th Generation diapers were stiff and had no movement to them, thus causing night time leaks on several occasions. I thought it was just something I and my son were going to have to live with. Since switching to the new style, we've only had one leak, and that was due to a diaper not being properly fastened. The new style seems just as absorbant to me. My son sleeps through the night so is in a diaper for up to 12 hours at night. We also have no problems during the day with leaks. I also like that the new style is stretchy like the "mainstream" diapers. Perhaps not every kid is as mobile as mine, but he needs a diaper that will stretch and move with him. The old style was uncomfortable for him and bunched up with his constant movement.

The only reason why I didn't give this five stars is that I, too, notice some gel residue on my son, especially in the morning. Also, while we don't have problems with the diaper coming unfastened, I do have to make sure before I redress my son that the diaper is fastened well. The hook and tab closure is not as strong as I would like.

Great First "Pet"
This is a great product if you're trying to figure out whether your child is ready for a small caged or tank pet. The sea monkeys require very little care, but you have to be somewhat consistent (feeding when the tank is clear, about once a week, and watching the water level). If your child is okay with that over a period of time, he or she may be ready for an easy aquarium, or even a hamster. If your child is not ready, the sea monkeys don't require so much care that they'll unduly burden the parents to whom their care falls. You won't be stuck walking them.
